Hormonal imbalance treatment

Hormonal imbalance treatment

What is a hormonal imbalance?
Estrogen, progesterone and testosterone all play an important role in regulating the systems in the body. When the production of these hormones is disturbed, the whole body can be affected. Most of the symptoms of post-tubal ligation syndrome are similar to those that occur during perimenopause. These include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, tiredness and mood swings.

A health expert can advise you based on your symptoms and personal circumstances
Before you decide to take PTLS treatment, you should consult your doctor to determine if you actually have a post-tubal ligation syndrome or if you are actually entering menopause. The symptoms are very similar and can often be confused. It is important to first rule out menopause as the cause of your hormonal imbalance.

4 treatments for hormonal imbalance during PTLS
1
Food rich in phytoestrogens
Estrogen can often be consumed to reduce the severity or frequency of post-tubal ligation syndrome and to restore hormonal balance. Restore estrogen levels by consuming plant-estrogenic foods such as flaxseed, sweet potatoes, black cohosh, and soy products. However, before you take natural products, you should always consult your doctor.

2
Birth control pills
Your doctor may prescribe birth control pills if you have a syndrome of tubal ligation, as they contain synthetic hormones that can balance your hormone balance and help you with a syndrome after tubal ligation. However, some cases of PTLS can be attributed to side effects of hormonal contraception treatments.

3
Hormonal creams
A progesterone and / or estrogen cream can often reduce the severity or frequency of the post-tubal ligation syndrome as it reestablishes hormonal balance after absorption into the skin. Maintaining your normal hormone level is critical to the optimal health of your body. Possible side effects include headache, chest pain and skin irritation.

4
Tubenligaturumkehr
Tubal reversal
For some women, the solution may be a tubal ligation reversal. In this major surgical procedure, the fallopian tubes are loosened, re-attached or unlocked. Not everyone will qualify for this option. This depends on factors such as age, the health of the fallopian tubes and the initial type of tubal ligation procedure performed. Most reversing women find that their post-tubal ligation syndrome disappears after surgery.
